The town of Ordino is located in the parish of Ordino, which is located in the north of Andorra. Quaint and small, the parish has a population of just over 3,000 people. The town of Ordino and several of the surrounding communities all feature charming streets and historic buildings, which combine to bring a great deal of charm to the area. The local ski slopes and plentiful shopping have out of town guests seeking Ordino hotels throughout the year.
There are quite a few beautiful sights to see in the town and parish of Ordino. Many of the buildings are imposing, with some dating back to medieval times. Visitors are encouraged to seek out the Church of Sant Corneli and Sant Cebria, which is open to the public during the summer months. The Ordino Main Square also comprises several quaint buildings of antiquity, along with shops and restaurants for enjoyment. The Romanesque Church of Sant Marti is also open to the public during July and August. The Church of San Cerni is also worth the visit, though it is only open during Mass hours. Other notable sights include the mill wheel of Mas d'en and the Sawmill of Cal Pal, which are both restored buildings from the seventeenth century. Finally, a walk around Llorts Village is highly recommended.

Travel to Andorra is only possible by roads. The closest airports, Carcassonne Airport and Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport, both have coach services available for travel into the mountains of Andorra. Car rental is also a popular option for many visitors. The town itself is easily seen on foot, though bicycles are a very popular choice for sightseeing. For a luxury option, many travelers choose to arrive to Orlina by helicopter. There is a local airport for these and chartered flights available, but the travel can get expensive.
