Belfast A Melting Pot of Irish Culture and Heritage

Belfast is located in Northern Island near the banks of the River Lagan. The rolling hills and inspiring architecture have made the city an attractive place for tourists. The great thing about the city is that it is less well known and therefore not as crowded as some of the other areas in the city.

There are a lot of interesting attractions to visit in Belfast beginning with the magnificent city hall. The city hall has a similar structure to that of the Durban city hall found in South Africa. Both were influenced by the British Empire. You will also want to visit Place on Fountain Street for an excellent array of shops and galleries. The city is teeming with possibilities to explore including the Ormeau Baths Gallery, the Belfast Print Workshop and Gallery, the Titanic Boat Tour, and the Waterfront Hall. There are also some interesting cathedrals and churches in the city, the most influential being St. Anne's Cathedral.
