Tuscany, Italy is a popular destination for travelers for a number of reasons. The area is gorgeous and you will be able to find a range of different things to see and do while you are there. Visitors will be able to find some great little bed and breakfasts at which to stay, and they will be able to find some houses and even rooms in castles available for rent. Of course, you can also find some nice hotels in the area if you want luxury accommodations. Once you have a place to stay, you will be able to use it as your base of operations as you explore the countryside.

 

Tuscany Vineyards and Other Great Tuscan Attractions

Many vacationers are also wine lovers, and Tuscany vineyards are plentiful. You will be able to discover a number of wineries, small and large, where you can sample the wares. You can also find some places where you can learn about olive oil production. You will love all there is to see and do in the area beyond visiting the vineyards as well. In Tuscany, nature lovers will find some great places to visit as well. Make sure that you bring your camera along with you so you can capture the beauty of the land.

Rent a bike or explore some of the area on foot. Let time pass by slowly as you soak in the culture of this area of Italy. You will find some small villages in the countryside where you will be able to try some local food at a small restaurant or café. Quite a few of them even have wine from those local vineyards.

Visitors will also be able to visit the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Tuscany. The tower is in the city of Pisa, and the tower is one of the attractions that you must see when you are in the area. One of the other things to do in Tuscany, Italy that you might want to do is visit the coast. The Mediterranean Sea offers some great beaches for relaxing, swimming and water sports. Fishing is also popular.

After you make your first trip to Tuscany and return home, you will find it calling to you. With all of the things that there are to see and do – not to mention how relaxing a Tuscan vacation can be – you will probably want to head back to the area a few more times!
