The new Hotel Le Seven is a world away from the typical upscale hotel in Paris.  Stepping away from the traditional Louis XIV furnishings and floral wallpaper, this Paris hotel is a surprising and ultra-modern place to stay in the City of Lights.

Hotel Le Seven Paris

From the moment you spot the hotel on rue Berthollet in the heart of the 5th Arrondissement, the difference is noticeable.  The building may be traditionally Parisian, but the neon sign suggests a different kind of hotel.

There are 28 guest rooms and seven suites in the Hotel Le Seven, each one designed with an individual theme to create a fantasy world for the hotel’s clientele.

The décor is ultra-modern, and each room offers guests some truly unique features, including beds that appear to levitate in the middle of the room, peekaboo showers (some built for two), and soothing aromatherapy oils available at the flick of a switch.  In some rooms, even the bathtub seems to float on a cushion of air.

The furnishings and bedding are all white, while the rooms are dark and ultra-chic.  Each room also has a variety of modern services, including free wireless internet, massages on request, and full climate control. Forgot your laptop at home? No need to worry, you can borrow one for the length of your stay.  There is also full room service, and breakfast served each morning in the dining room.

The Hotel Le Seven also offers a number of elaborately themed suites, each with a distinct and memorable personality.   The Sublime is an all-white room, where the bed, furnishings and décor undulate in gentle swerves and curls. The Lovez-Vous suite features a cattle print double Jacuzzi on a terrace, an open fire place right at the foot of the bed, and another open fireplace in the sitting room, in front of the wall-mounted flat screen TV.

On the ultra-feminine side, the Marie Antoinette suite and the Alice suite feature soft pinks, crystals and twinkling lights.  On the ultra-masculine side, the Black Diamond suite is all black, with gold accents and a diamond-encrusted bathtub.

The ultimate in themed suites is the 007, designed to reflect the 1960s world of the world’s most famous spy.  You can pretend you are James Bomb with as you recline in full 60s style.  The room is even accented with a golden toilet.

The Hotel Le Seven also features a bright and comfortable lounge and a romantic wine cellar where you can sit and relive the highlights of your day over a fine glass of French wine.

Whether you arein Paris for a honeymoon, a romantic getaway, or even a fun weekend with friends, Hotel Le Seven offers a different view of this wonderful city.  One that is modern and fashionable, fun and a little frivolous, and as boldly daring as the city itself.
