Acropolis

Much of the white marble still stands and it offers a breathtaking architectural view for certain. If you would like to see it in a new light, then consider visiting at night time when the Parthenon is lit up dramatically. The best time to visit during the day will be in the morning hours before you have to deal with any crowds. The Parthenon is also located within steps of the Acropolis, making both places easy to visit in one day.

Temple of Hephaestus

The Temple of Hephaestus is located in the Agora, which is a beautiful natural park located in Athens. The Temple of Hephaestus is heavy on Greek mythology and the temple itself was first constructed in honor of the god by the same name. Hephaestus was the father of Zeus, one of the most important and well known gods in the Greek religion. The temple is small and located a little far away from the rest of the city, but definitely worth the look. The temple includes amazing architecture, art and history that you will not want to miss.

Fish Spa

If you are ready to take a break from all of the site seeing and rest your sore feet after days of walking, then you will want to visit the Fish Spa. Located in the main area of Athens, the spa includes a number of different treatments such as reflexology and various massages to help you relax.
